Kempinski Hotels celebrates 120 years of delivering rich and meaningful experiences to its guests with ‘Ignite the Night’, a series of festivities designed to enchant and delight guests, as Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group marks this milestone anniversary. A symbolic nod to Kempinski Hotels heritage, ‘Ignite the Night’ was launched with bespoke celebrations at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha on the eve of 9 April 2017.
Marsa Malaz Kempinski and Kempinski Residences & Suites stands united as they celebrate 120 years of Kempinski. Guests were welcomed in the Grand Lobby of Marsa Malaz Kempinski where the night was ignited tying the knot between its history and future. With the gentle notes of the pianist to add to the ambiance, the evening was set with European luxury and elegance, Kempinski’s key values. As the evening commenced, guests travelled along a journey, discovering how Kempinski became and what it stands for today.

The 120th anniversary celebrations will also see the launch of the Kempinski Travel in Style Competition, offering the chance to win an exclusive 10-night trip for two people, in three Kempinski hotels, including flights, limousine transfers and suite accommodation. The brand is synonymous with elegant European service, blended with the individual culture and traditions of each destination. As well as the 120th anniversary, 2017 also marks the return of Kempinski to the Americas, with the opening of Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana, Cuba’s first five-star luxury hotel. Housed in one of Old Havana’s most iconic buildings, the hotel will be the newest star in the Kempinski constellation.
