FLIK Cinemas, an Al Mana Group company, has announced the opening of the first platinum and gold class theatre multiplex in the GCC, in Lagoona Mall, West Bay, this month. Two more cinema multiplexes will follow in Mirqab Mall and Doha Mall, providing additional 16 screens in the next 12 months. FLIK Cinemas in Lagoona Mall will deliver an unprecedented cinematic experience in opulent surroundings, where modern technology meets the classic art of filmmaking. By combining innovative technology with outstanding service, FLIK Cinemas will create a unique, world-class cinema experience, superior to any current offering.
In Lagoona Mall, the platinum and gold class multiplex will offer four screens and 172 seats in a sumptuous environment, pairing custom designed genuine leather reclining seats with tables and cup coolers. To complement the experience, guests can choose from a carefully designed menu by Fauchon Paris, offering a wide variety of elegant cuisine to be ordered from and delivered to the client’s seat in the platinum theatre. A personalised service waiter is available at the touch of a button via a personal iPad. Food and beverage ordered will be delivered on a tray service. Blankets and pillows complete the experience to ensure total comfort.
