On the occasion of Qatar’s National Sports Day, McDonald’s Qatar, the leading food service in Qatar, cemented its support for Aquathlon, a swim-run multisport activity, for the 2nd running year. The 3rd edition of Aquathlon took place on the 12th of February at the beach area of Katara Cultural Village.
The Katara Aquathlon was organized alongside Katara Cultural Village and supported by Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation. During the event, McDonald’s Qatar handed over sports shirts to the participants during the race. The sponsorship strongly underlines McDonald’s persistent commitment to champion such initiatives and programs that help serve as a platform for a healthier community. A fun, healthy and engaging competition saw an impressive number of contestants who joined the race from different nationalities with the same objective of a jumpstart to healthy living through participating in endurance sports.
