As part of a joint alliance between Oryx Rotana, one of the leading hotels in Doha, with the Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan) and Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), the elders of Ehsan were hosted under the program “Our Landmarks”, which aims to introduce the old members of the community to the urban development and modern landmarks being developed in the state, by offering them a guided tour about the architectural prowess and heritage that the MIA possesses.

The program also witnessed workshops and training sessions for participants spanning over a period of three days. Through the Program, Ehsan intends to empower elder people of the community. During the three-day schedule, the Oryx Rotana team distributed 175 meals for the attendees, which were specially prepared to suit the guests’ dietary and health requirements.
