In a show of support and loyalty to Qatar and its leader Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar Solar Technologies (QSTec) has proudly installed signature boards bearing the ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural at its offices in West Bay and Ras Laffan Industrial City and in addition to this, installed a large mural on its new polysilicon plant’s headquarters.

“The ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural has become the image that unites all of Qatar and its presence at our new polysilicon facility in Ras Laffan marks a very important moment for QSTec,” said Dr Khalid Klefeekh Al Hajri, Chairman and CEO of QSTec.

“As a symbol of QSTec’s unwavering commitment and support of the Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030 development goals, we are extremely proud that our ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural looks out over our 1.1 megawatt solar farm at our new polysilicon facility. We take great pride in being global Qatari company that is shaping Qatar, the MENA region and the global solar industry’s development.” In line with QNV 2030’s goals, last Thursday QSTec announced that it had finalized a deal that would enable solar industry leaders, the German company SolarWorld, to emerge from receivership in a move that will open up a wealth of solar manufacturing, research and development opportunities for Qatar, and accelerate the MENA solar industries growth and energy diversification plans. Tamim Al Majd mural installed 3 [qatarisbooming.com].jpg
