Continuing to execute on its aggressive growth strategy, AURA Hospitality & Food Services, a subsidiary of AURA Lifestyle and a leading player in Qatar’s F&B and entertainment industry, has announced that, together with its sister concern Palma Hospitality Group, it will open four new concepts in Qatar before the end of 2017, including three unique restaurant concepts, as part of its plan to further expand its domestic footprint.

“AURA Hospitality & Food Services has been in expansion mode throughout the last two years, along with our sister concern Palma Hospitality Group, we are now set to open three more exciting restaurant concepts which will expand our portfolio to 26 brands and 47 restaurants – the largest of any F&B operator in Qatar,” said Charbel Mhanna, CEO of AURA Hospitality & Food Services. “Each of our upcoming restaurants will bring something novel and refreshingly unique to the table, continuing our strategy of creating differentiated F&B brands that stand out from the crowd by offering guests a level of quality, authenticity, service and ambience that is truly outstanding.”

The group’s upcoming openings include Jwala, a contemporary Indian restaurant in Megapolis offering a unique culinary journey through the different regions of India; Gahwetna, an exclusive Qatari coffee shop in Medina Centrale which is owned by Palma Hospitality Group; and SMAT, a one-of-a-kind concept that will offer guests the ultimate Qatari dining experience.

“Lately, we have been placing a lot of emphasis on bringing to the market distinctive restaurant concepts that recreate the time-honored culinary traditions of Qatar and the Arabian Peninsula, and the list continues to grow with the impending opening of SMAT and Gahwetna. SMAT – which will be strategically located on the Corniche, just above our award-winning fine dining restaurant Orient Pearl – in particular is a key project for the group, and will make a standout addition to our portfolio of locally-inspired concepts,” Mhanna added.

In addition to the three F&B brands, the group will also open the much-anticipated Minipolis in Q4 2017 under the umbrella of Palma Hospitality Group. Located within Megapolis, the biggest indoor entertainment centre in Qatar, Minipolis is an in-house concept designed to offer toddlers and youngsters a space that is fun, safe and educational, and its opening will further cement Megapolis’ reputation as the go-to destination for young families in Qatar. The addition of these new brands to the AURA portfolio follows on the heels of several recent openings for the group that included Life with Cacao, a gourmet dessert shop designed as the ultimate haven for chocolate lovers, Arabic restaurant Basta 23, which is due to inaugurate its third outlet in Doha soon, Build It Burger, an innovative burger concept that allows diners to customize burgers to their preferences and Al Bisana restaurant in Katara that serves authentic Palestinian cuisine.

Additional exciting new offer launches for key AURA Hospitality & Food Services outlets include a new breakfast menu at Doha’s top dining destination Orient Pearl, which offers diners an outstanding selection of traditional Arabic dishes for QAR 80 daily from 9:30am till midday, not to mention their newly introduced 3-course set menu Business Lunch available daily from 12:30pm till 3:30pm at QAR 75 or QAR 95 with shisha. “2017 is turning out to be another milestone year for the group, with a steady, year-round stream of openings that has allowed us to make deeper inroads into the F&B market, and we are looking to sustain our expansion momentum into the next year to further solidify our leadership position in the market,” Mhanna concluded.
