Doha Festival City has marked the official opening of the Mall’s Main Entrance, granting visitors’ access to its third main corridor which is home to a wide selection of premium much-loved brands.
Hundreds of thousands of visitors chose to visit the Mall throughout Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr to enjoy the the best in lifestyle, home, supermarket and entertainment brands, as well as the 25 new stores which opened their doors at the largest entertainment, retail and hospitality destination in Qatar - managed and operated by Al-Futtaim.
The openings have further strengthened Doha Festival City’s leading position as a unique global shopping and lifestyle destination, with well-known fashion and beauty brand stores and experiences being added to the Mall’s already vast offerings. Doha Festival City has especially enhanced its fashion offering with popular French retailer, Maje, opening its first ever store in Qatar, as well as a number of cutting-edge brands opening their doors including flagship and new concept stores Ted Baker, Furla, Bebe, Sandro, Diesel, Adidas, UGG, and many more.
In addition, Doha Festival City continues to offer customer convenience at every moment during a visitors’ time at the Mall with its ‘Smart Mall’ enhanced experience that has incorporated a number of innovative concepts that are infused with unique technology from digital wayfinding, smart car parking and free high-speed Wi-Fi to its extensive digital media network. Now, with the opening of the Mall’s Main Entrance, visitors also have access to the VIP Valet Parking service, which includes the options to add on a tyre pressure check, as well as interior and exterior car cleaning services.

As part of Festival City’s ongoing strategy to surprise and delight customers by enriching every day, visitors were delighted with a series of activities for families and children of all ages during the holy month of Ramadan, participating in Craft Making workshops, Traditional Story Telling sessions and a massive Garangao celebration throughout the Mall, with over 3,000 participating children and 10,000 candy-filled goodie bags prepared. Then to celebrate the Mall’s first Eid Al Fitr, thousands of visitors were treated to fun-filled surprises and shows as guests were entertained by the Ice Age Collision Course live show, performance artist Ambush Man, the specially themed ‘living’ Museum Statues, and the Joyful Parade and Ardha Dancers.
